Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program
The KU PREP program is offered through the Office for Diversity in Science Training, which coordinates the management of several externally-funded programs for underrepresented students at the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University.
Prepare for Graduate School
The Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP) is a federally-funded program at the University of Kansas that promotes diversity in biomedical research. This program provides mentored research experiences and training to assist recently graduated students with preparing for graduate school in a science-related field.
PREP provides students with a mentored research experience and supplemental coursework. PREP also provides personalized academic counseling, assistance selecting and applying to graduate programs, local presentation opportunities, travel support to attend national meetings, and other opportunities to enhance research and academic skills.
